Olympia Acoustic Music Folk/Acoustic House Concerts
NEXT CONCERT: We'll take the summer off and return in September. Hilary Scott Sunday, September 24, 2017 - 4 pm Suggested donation: $20 Hilary is a singer-songwriter with a wonderful voice and sings with a touch of country and a lot of passion. We saw her and her husband, AJ, perform at FAR-West 2016. Her career has included co-writes with numerous songwriters, tours in the U.S., U.K., Europe and Asia, multiple awards, and the release of ten albums. Her EP, Flowers on Mars, was awarded Americana/Folk Album of the Year for 2014 by the Rural Roots Commission of the National Traditional Country Music Association. Reviews of her latest CD, Freight Train Love, have said: Despite a music career that began in Seattle more than a decade ago, Hilary Scott—(one “L”)—is not a household name. If the award-winning. Indie-Americana singer-songwriter’s new album...is any indication; this won’t be the case for too much longer. And …If there is such a thing as creative country pop then this is it from an underrated singer songwriter… Blessed with a powerful voice and equally at home on guitar, keyboards or violin Hilary is a talented lady. She and AJ are dedicated to nearly-nonstop touring and she'll make a stop here on her way to FAR-West 2017.
